SKELLIGS ROCKS IRELAND: The haunting and beautiful Skellig Rocks off the coast of County Kerry where filming of the latest 'Star Wars' is to take place during Spetember. The rocks are a UNESCO world heritage centre situated 11 miles from Valentia Island and the South Kerry coast. Filming of 'Star Wars 7' is due to take place on Skellig Micheal once inhabited only by monks. A Christian monastery was founded on the island between the 6th and 8th century, and was continuously occupied until its abandonment in the late 12th century. The remains of this monastery, along with most of the island itself, were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list in 1996.<br />
