The Killarney Fire Brigade leaves New Market Lane (behind Quill's) for the last time in 1988. The brigade moved to their new location on the bypass which was under construction at the time. Some viewers will remember the Klaxon Horn, a very loud and often frightening sound like "AH-OOH-GA," which reverberated around the town to alert members to come to the station immediately as there was a fire in the town. Long time Killarney councillor and fire officer Donal Grady led the team on the nostalgic journey.
