The East Avenue Road, Killarney which has seen many changes over the last 100 years. One place that has remained relatively unchanged but magnificently restored is The International Hotel. The new outdoor dining space created by the council is a wonderful addition to this historic corner of town. The original East Avenue road ran from Killarney House (now the Plaza Hotel) to the Railway Station passing through the railway gates and was lined with trees and a stone wall.
