Pretty Polly, Killarney once employed over 1,000 people in Killarney. The factory produced Ladies Tights from its premises on the outskirts of the town. Along with Tuf Shoes and Liebherr Killarney was one of the biggest manufacturing towns in Munster outside of the big cities. Pretty Polly and Killarney were synonymous with high quality jobs and many family members and generations were employed by the company.
