In 1965 Kerry's biggest baby ever baby was born in Nurse Seymours Nursing Home in Killarney weighing a whopping 15 and a half lbs and he turned out to be a grewat savious for the county. Charlie Nelligan, argubably Kerry's greatest goalkeeper made the history books long before he went on to win 7 All-Ireland medals and is pictured above beside another baby born on the same day with Nurse O'Connor.<br />
The image is part of a collection of photographs from The MacMonagle Family who are celebrating 100 years in photography this weekend. An exhibition will be opened in killarney Library on Saturday evening by Minister Jimmy Deenihan, who played alongisde Charlie for many years. The exhibition will run for the month of July.<br />
