Thye late Kerry footballer John Egan who died in Cork at the age of 59 on Easter Saturday pictured with the Sam Maguire cup in his native Sneem last year.. Egan won six All-Ireland football medals including four-in-a-row between 1978 and 1981. He captained Kerry in their attempt for a record five titles in-a-row in 1982, but they were beaten in the final by Offaly.
