'The Plough', a system of stars pictured on right of building, over Bray Head Watchtower on Valentia Island last night as the now famous Kerry Dark Sky revealed millions of stars on a perfectly dark night with no moon. Stargazers are coming from all over the world to see one of only 3 GOLD TIER Reserves in the world and the only GOLD TIER Reserve in the Northern Hemisphere. The Plough or The Big Dipper in America, consists of seven bright stars in the constellation Ursa Major and make the shape of a plough or frying pan depending on your observation.
