Dont shoot the models!: One normally uses a camera to shoot models but in Killarney on Tuesday Deputy Michael Healy-Rae was on hand complete with shotgun and local girls Jennifer Lenihan, Christina Pinkaow and Aine Doherty, at Muckross House to launch the Run Killarney festival which will take place on Saturday the 14th of July 2012. This year the event has 3 great races on the same day to suit all levels of fitness: Killarney 10K, Killarney Half Marathon 13.1 Miles and Killarney Maxi Marathon 15 Miles and will be started by the South Kerry TD . Cmpetitors will run a breathtaking route from Molls Gap to Muckross House through the National Park and around the tranquil Lakes of Killarney. A competitive field of over 1,200 runners and walkers will descend on Muckross House for Killarney’s premier running event.
