The remains of Maurice O'Donoghue leave The Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney on Tuesday morning flanked by a guard of honour from the staff of The Gleneagle Hotel, Pitch & Putt Club, Killarney & Ditstict Motor Club, Squash Club and entertainers on its way to requiem Mass in St. Mary's Cathedral for the biggest funeral ever seen in Killarney. Stars from the world of show business including Brendan Grace, Joe Dolan, The Wolfe Tones along with Minister for Tourism Jim McDaid and Minister for Justice John O'Donoghue also paid their last respects to one of Ireland's most famous hoteliers and politicians.
