CLONFERT TO BRANDON PILGRIMMAGE 16-5-00
Fr. Tomas O'Caoimh, pictured at the foot of mist covered Brandon Mountain in Co. Kerry after the pilgrimmage from Clonfert to Brandon was called off due to inclement weather. The icon of St. Brendan was due to be dedicated to the Kerry saint on the anniversary of the saint's birth .The icon was written by Sr. Aloysius McVeigh of Derry.
